Ukraine Update | What is no-fly zone?

Ukrainians in Ukraine and around the world demand a no-fly zone over Ukraine. In our Online briefing, we discussed with Iulian Romanyshyn, Senior Fellow at CASSIS, the implications of this demand.

What is a “no-fly zone”? Who can introduce and sustain it? Does it by default implies the use of military airplanes, for instance, by NATO? What would be the implications of this move, and how realistic is it to expect this?

LibMod in conversation with Iulian Romanyshyn, Senior Fellow, CASSIS – Center for Advanced Security, Strategic and Integration Studies, Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. Moderation by Iryna Solonenko, Senior Fellow at the Center for Liberal Modernity.

This will be the second briefing in a series of regular reports about Ukraine.
